New York Franchising Expo for Global Entrepreneurs
This year’s International Franchise Expo (IFE), from May 30 – June 1, will be held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York. Aspiring entrepreneurs will have the chance to meet and learn from executives from more than 400 leading and emerging franchise brands.
Last year’s expo attracted entrepreneurs visiting from 49 states and 83 foreign countries. Throughout the upcoming event, attendees from all backgrounds can explore opportunities from restaurants and fitness clubs to auto repairs and travel agencies. Franchise investments can range from as little as $10,000 to more than $1 million.
Educational seminars and workshops will cover topics ranging from “The A to Z’s of Buying a Franchise” to “Marketing Strategies for Your Business.” Attendees can take advantage of the more than 60 free educational seminars, 10 in-depth workshops and face-to-face networking with top franchise executives.
Additionally, participants will also have full access to SCORE Theater. SCORE NYC is an organization of experienced mentors ready to provide free expert advice, one-on-one coaching, start-up support and more, right on the show floor.

MIT Technology Review’s Second EmTech Next Conference
MIT Technology Review’s second EmTech Next conference will take place June 11-12, 2019, at the MIT Media Lab. The latest in the EmTech Event Series, this conference will focus on how emerging technologies are augmenting human capabilities. Attendees will learn how artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics will enable the human workforce to increase efficiency and open up new areas of economic growth, while also exploring the unintended consequences of machine learning.

Greenhouse OPEN 2019 Conference and Keynote Speaker, Jennifer Hyman, CEO of Rent the Runway
